Executive Chef Krish Dutt (ex-Madame Hanoi) and Fahey Hotels have teamed up to open Momoda by Krish at The Maid Hotel in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs.
The 48-seat eatery boasts a menu by Dutt that takes inspiration from South-East Asian street food paired with creative cocktails and an overall speakeasy vibe.
The menu draws on Dutt’s travels and features snacks, street food dishes, bao, dumplings, plus a selection of small and large share-style plates.
“Through these travels, I’ve been able to grasp the art of balancing and combining these vibrant flavours, making them come alive in harmony”, says Dutt.
“Using fresh, local ingredients from our trusted farmers and suppliers, I aim to showcase a menu that blends flavours harmoniously and surprises the taste buds. Each dish is crafted with attention to detail, flair, and innovative flavours”.
Some of the highlights across the menu include Coffin Bay oysters with yuzu-infused soy sauce; Korean beef tartare with green apple and sesame; five-spiced marinated chicken with nuoc cham; and roabata-grilled Tasmania salmon with miso and ginger.
Momoda by Krish also offers a chef’s selection menu and an express lunchtime menu.
Drinks-wise, diners can try Dutt’s house-infused Soju alongside a range of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
Fahey Hotels are also behind South Australia’s The Lakes Hotel and The Bridgeway Hotel with Momoda by Krish the group’s latest addition.
Momoda by Krish is open from Wednesday to Saturday and is located at 1 Magill Road, Stepney.
