The Gold Coast is due to open it’s first Gold Coast Beer and Cider Festival on Saturday 21 October this year.
Over 40 premium craft beer and cider producers are geared up to participate in a festival that will be held at the Broadwater Parklands between 11-5pm.
“The craft beer sector has matured rapidly in recent years with an emphasis on distinctive, fresh and innovative brews with real character. And the characters behind the brews will be available throughout the Festival to share their stories and provide tastings across their product ranges.” Says Organiser Dr Jerry Schwartz.
The Schwartz Family Company is excited to bring the event to Gold Coast after hosting similar events in Canberra and the Hunter Valley.
festival-goers will experience tastings from the best interstate and local craft breweries such as Sydney brewery, alongside a range gourmet food vendors and other activities.
Tickets will be on sale for $20 per person with pre-festival bookings available online for $30, tasting tickets will be on sale throughout the festival with $2 per 100ml taster.
