BaaOinkMoo, aka BOM, has opened its doors in the Ed.Square Town Centre in Sydney’s Edmondson Park.
Bailey Wang is behind the bbq restaurant and soju bar, with the restaurateur teaming up with Executive Chef Peter Wu to curate an experiential concept anchored by premium meats, Korean-inspired cocktails and live music.
“I love Korean culture, Korean food and KBBQ as well as Kpop,” says Wang. “There’s life in their music, and love in their food, which is all about sharing.
“From the moment you step off the escalators and into BOM you’ll be surrounded by neon lights, hundreds of mirror balls, pumping tunes and the delicious smell of perfectly seared meats.”
Patrons are able to order from a range of seafood, veg and dry-aged meats, including 5+ local Wagyu or try bbq sets designed for up to eight people to cook over smokeless charcoal grills.
There’s also sashimi, soups, noodles, sides and fried chicken on offer plus Korean-inspired cocktails.
The Pixel Pink sees peach soju teamed with vodka and grapefruit juice while the Kpop Cooler combines Absolut vodka with blue curacao, grapefruit juice and lime.
BOM is open Wednesday to Sunday.
