Burger Project, founded by chef Neil Perry, has launched a mobile loyalty app while also swinging open the doors to its new store at Broadway in Sydney.
The app offers $10 credit to the first 5,000 users who download it (from 26 April), and can be used across all 11 Burger Projects in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Users earn 10 loyalty points for every $1 spent. They can redeem $10 credit for every 2,000 points, or $30 credit for every 5,000 points. They can also earn 10 points if they check in to Burger Project via Facebook on the app.
Credit can be used to purchase anything from the menu, and those earning 250,000 points will have access to the recipe for Burger Project’s ‘secret sauce’.
Other app benefits will include skipping queues by ordering ahead, making mobile payments, and taking advantage of exclusive offers and menu items.
The launch of the iOS and Android app was followed by the opening of Burger Project’s 11th outlet, located at Broadway in Sydney.
Launching on 28 April, the 100-seat store has a smart, casual interior designed by Grant Cheyne.
Perry said launching an app and a new venue in the same week is a huge achievement for the team.
“We’re pumped and ready for action,” he said. “Ultimately we’re giving customers greater convenience by expanding our footprint and providing them the opportunity to order and pay via mobile phone.”
