Celebrating the best in food and drink in the nation’s capital, The Canberra Times Good Food Month will officially kick off today.
The event comprises month-long specials and 30 feature events including the Korean snack party, Matt Moran’s ‘celebration of the seasons’ garden party at Pialligo Estate, and the McConnell brothers’ lunchtime feast at Monster.
The Enlighten Night Noodle Markets will return for a second year, running from March 4-13 at Reconciliation Place. This year, 10 Canberra restaurants will feature among the 25 plus stalls offering everything from baos to dumplings, skewers to ramen, chicken burgers and special cake smash desserts. The Market stalls holders include: Bao Stop, Black Star Pastry & N2 Extreme Gelato, East Street Canberra, Lilotang, Miss Vans, Kusina and Mr. Papa.
“This year’s line-up really is a festival of treats for the stomach and the senses with everything from bespoke fine dining events, to one-off lunches and dinners throughout the city, not to mention the Enlighten Night Noodle Markets,” says Canberra Good Food Month creative director Myffy Rigby.
“There really is no better time of the year to join the feast and I can’t wait to see Canberra’s response.”
