Castlecrag’s Quadrangle Shopping Village has continued its revamp with the opening of Canton Kitchen.
The Cantonese eatery will offer up classic dishes including steamed dim sum platters, sweet and sour kurobuta pork, kung pao chicken and honey king prawns.
Jason Chan has been appointed head chef after working at Queen Chow in the same role. “Canton Kitchen is all about celebrating the delicate and refined flavours of Cantonese cuisine while offering a unique take on the classic dishes that Australian diners treasure,” says Chan.
The menu is divided into starters, main sharing dishes, rice and noodles, sides and desserts. Highlights include steamed Hokkaido scallops with ginger and shallots; hot and numbing chicken wings; Aylesbury Peking duck pancakes; typhoon shelter style tempura vegetables and fried ice cream.
The restaurant is open Tuesday to Thursday for dinner and Friday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.
