Chica Bonita has expanded from Manly to the Sydney CBD with the launch of a new post on Clarence Street.
Described as the ‘mature sister’ to the Manly restaurant, the CBD venue will be open from Monday to Saturday.
Alejandro Huerta (Pujol restaurant, Mexico) has taken on the role as head chef and designed a menu inspired traditional Mexican fare and his own family recipes.
Dishes include pickled cactus with burrata and lemon myrtle-infused milk, crispy fish taco with green cabbage, baja sauce, coriander and lime along with crispy pork belly with mole coloradito, fermented kale and Warrigal greens.
A range of drinks are on offer, from agave to margaritas and a wine list curated by Dan Simmons.
The CBD restaurant is the third Sydney venue for founders Sean Miller and Luke Miller, who also run Sunset Sabi in Manly.
