Sydney restaurant China Diner is expanding its presence, opening a new location in Tramsheds.
The Forest Lodge venue spans a 150-seat indoor space as well as an outdoor area, and is expected to open in December.
“We believe there is strong demand in the Inner West for our kind of food, and when we saw the space [at Tramsheds], we immediately envisioned our next venue there,” says owner Kingsley Smith.
“We are really excited about the diversity of the site with both its indoor and outdoor dining spaces.”
China Diner currently has locations in Bondi and Double Bay, and the Tramsheds venue will replicate the brand’s menu and cocktail list.
Diners can look forward to a range of dumplings, seafood and signature dishes, including five spice duck pancakes and chilli caramel pork belly. The venue will also have a dedicated vegan menu.
On the drinks front, an extensive wine list will be available alongside sake and cocktails.
Official opening date to come.
