Unrivalled views of the Sydney Opera House and CBD are back on the menu at Cruise Bar and Restaurant with the C!nc hospitality venue gearing up to reopen in time for Vivid.
The venue will make a grand return in early May after months of extensive renovations.
Set within the glass walls of Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal, the bar and restaurant is spread over three levels, with Cruise Bar and Restaurant inhabiting the lower two and new space Melba’s perched on the rooftop.
Award-winning design firm Luchetti Krelle executed the update, with a naturally toned, subtle palette that serves as the perfect platform to watch the bright lights of the harbour city.
Over the years, the venue has attracted a celebrity audience, welcoming its fair share of big names like Kylie Minogue and Justin Bieber.
Along with the venue makeover, the menu has also received a refresh. Head Chef Han Chen (ex- a’Mare) revised the offering, drawing on local Australian produce for dishes like bush tomato butter mussels and pan-seared Humpty Doo barramundi with macadamia cream.
Meanwhile, Tom Bulmer (Margaret, O Bar, Jane) has reinvented the drinks list to feature cocktails infused with native ingredients.
Melba’s Rooftop, the new upstairs space, will be open for private events.
