Princess Cruises has created a new video series with chef Curtis Stone, sharing the vision behind his new on-board restaurant, Share.
The restaurant is set to arrive in Australia in April next year on the Sun Princess, but will swing open its doors on the Ruby Princess and Emerald Princess next month.
To build anticipation for the rollout, Princess Cruises has released the first of an eight part video series where chef Stone explains the inspiration behind the on-board restaurant concept, Share, and what he hopes to achieve with the brand.
“Share is really the central philosophy of everything that I strive for and am passionate about when it comes to food – bringing people together, communicating in a different way and sharing beautiful dishes with the special people in your life,” Curtis said. “I’m excited for cruisers to get to know me better through the Share video series and I hope the series inspires people to create lasting memories through food and conversation, both on Princess Cruises’ ships and in their everyday life.”
Princess Cruise’s vice president Australia and New Zealand, Stuart Allison, said “We’re confident Share will be embraced in a similar way and we’re delighted to offer cruisers a behind the scenes peek into the inspiration behind this exciting culinary experience via the new video series.”
The Share menu includes a charcuterie starter course, salads, handmade pastas, quality meats, desserts and more.
Announced in July, the partnership between Stone and Princess Cruises will see him develop new culinary offerings served across the cruise line’s 18-strong ship fleet.
The first of the eight part video series can be seen below.
