Sydney’s Darling Square has confirmed plans for Maker’s Dozen, a new food hall set to open mid-2019.
The precinct will be located on the ground floor of Kengo Kuma’s The Exchange building and comprise 12 outlets.
Confirmed venues include Sonoma, Mr. Bao Buns and Bucket Boys bar and bottle shop.
Andy Bowdy will launch the second Saga outlet, dubbed Saga Lyte, which will feature breakfast and lunch options including sandwiches, salads and meat pies. Soft serve and sundaes will also be available along with his signature cakes and desserts.
Banksii’s Hamish Ingham and Rebecca Lines have teamed up with Ume’s Kerby Craig to launch Pasta Wafu, which revolves around Italian classics with a Japanese twist.
The space will feature 350 seats across indoor and outdoor areas and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with consumers able to pick and choose a range of dishes before dining in the communal seating area.
The remaining venues will be announced in due course.
