Bay Vista Dessert Bar and Café, which has operated at its Brighton Le Sands location for more than 25 years, opened its second venue in Parramatta on 15 August.
The family-run business, which was founded in 1991 by Bill Mougios, is inspired by American diners and all-hours European dining.
Pancakes, waffles, sweet crepes and big-bowl ice creams are all on the menu, alongside a selection of cakes, dessert jars, cheesecakes and tasting plates. Savoury dishes are also on offer, including crepes, cheesy toasties and New York-style melts.
While the new Parramatta store will serve up the same sweet menu as Brighton Le Sands, the venue itself will be almost three times the size and spread over two levels, incorporating many of the same interior elements with earthy tones, dark timber and gold foiling.
