Eden has opened its doors on Bondi’s Campbell Parade under Simon Hill and Tanya Smart.
It’s the first venue for Hill, who was working in the wellness area, but the second for Smart, who previously ran Conscious Feast.
“It isn’t about labels or telling people how to eat,” says Hill. “It’s an inclusive and encouraging place for the Bondi and broader Sydney community to enjoy creative and flavourful plant-based food with friends and family.”
Alibi alum Claudia Pantoja has been appointed head chef and designed a plant-based menu that includes dishes such as watermelon poke, pizzas and popcorn cauliflower.
The 80-seat restaurant also has a range of cocktails on offer from the Garden of Eden with Hippocampus vodka, Chartreuse Green, lemon, mint, cucumber and myrtle soda to the Bondi Sour with gin, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, aquafaba and rosemary.
Eden is open Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm until 10pm.
