Sparkke Change Beverage Company have announced they will open their first pub in Adelaide slated to open in December.
The female-led brewery have purchased The Whitmore Hotel which will now undergo a $1.8 million renovation led by Troppo Architects.
Sparkke At The Whitmore will launch with a rooftop bar, a restaurant that celebrates local produce, an upstairs function area and a beer garden.
The pub will also house a custom nano-brewery that will produce limited-edition craft brews by Sparkke’s head brewer Agi Gajic.
“The real theatre of the pub is the brewhouse,” says Gajic. “We’ll be making small batch, weird and wonderful brews; most will never be repeated again. It’s a real laboratory for experimentation and pushing the boundaries around craft brewing.”
The pokies-free pub won’t just feature Sparkke products, but showcase craft beer, wines, spirits and other brews from across the globe.
While this is the first pub for brewery, Sparkke has confirmed they will look to expand nationally.
