Finalists for the 2018 South Australian Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence have been announced ahead of next month’s awards ceremony.
The program formally recognises hospitality operators across a range of categories who consistently provide exceptional service and demonstrate culinary excellence in their respective fields.
Among the finalists for award for New Restaurant – City are 3rd by NNQ, Akimitsu, BA:M, Bai Long Store, Est Ovest, Five Feet Street Eats and Plus 82 Pocha. Meanwhile chef of the year finalists include Adam Bowden (Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard), Fernelo Manalo (The Haus Restaurant), Grant Schooling (Morphett Arms Hotel), Justin Penman (NOLA Adelaide & NOLA Events) and Tom Jack (Mitolo Wines).

Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) CEO Juliana Payne congratulated each of the finalists on their nominations.
“Each of the nominated businesses across all the categories have demonstrated exceptional service and culinary excellence over the course of the last year and as such have been included as finalists in this year’s Awards,” she says.
“All the business-owners recognised in this year’s SA Awards can be rightfully proud of their achievements in their culinary fields.”
The award winners will be announced on 16 July at a gala dinner held at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Registrations to attend the gala dinner are now open and can be accessed online.
