2016 will see the Foodservice Australia tradeshow in Sydney expand into a second hall for the first time, due to high demand.
The show, which will be located at Sydney’s Moore Park, has sold the allocation of 160 stalls at the Royal Hall of Industries and will now expand into the adjoining Hordern Pavillion for the first time.
Event director Tim Collett says that the expansion will take the show to a new level, with new features and exhibitors. Collett adds that the two halls will be linked by a marquee with the main entrance located between the two halls, ensuring that traffic flow is distributed evenly between both areas.
The Unilever Food Solutions Chef of the Year, Caf School and Gluten Free World will remain in the Royal Hall of Industries, while The Savour Patissier of the Year, Australia’s Best Pie, Global Pizza Challenge and National Restaurant Conference will be located in the Hordern Pavilion.
“The first hall was capped at 160 companies and sold out before Christmas. There is now room for another 80 companies and stand bookings have reopened,” says Collett.
“If you want to reach buyers from the caf, restaurant and catering sectors then now is the time to get involved. There is simply no better way to boost your sales. Stands range from 4m2 to 54m2, so there is something for every budget.”
Foodservice Australia will run from 22-24 May 2016. Entry to the show is restricted to people who work in the food or hospitality industry. For more information, click here.
