Korean fried chicken joint Gami Chicken & Beer will open its 20th Victorian outpost at Burwood Brickworks. The latest venture will serve up fried chicken for takeaway and delivery from 5pm on Thursday 16 July.
While stage 3 restrictions are in place, the outlet will be accepting pick-up orders via phone and Gami Chicken & Beer mobile app, and delivery is available via DoorDash, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
Alongside its cult fried chicken, which comes in various sizes and flavours (original fried, sweet chili, soy garlic and spicy), Gami also offers a range of sides. Think kimchi pancake, seafood & spring onion pancake, tteok bok ki, mandu and its signature beer battered chips.
While the brand usually throws a giveaway to celebrate the launch of a new store, this opening will see Gami donate 1000 pieces of chicken to local essential service workers.
Gami at Burwood Brickworks is working with centre management to enact its COVID safe plan with measures in place to maintain physical distancing and practice the highest hygiene standards.
