Celebrated chef Heston Blumenthal will next month be hosting a series of one-night-only, free of charge dining experiences in Melbourne.
There will be four ‘Hidden Heston’ restaurants, with seats awarded to MasterChef fans who can successfully solve clues posted on the reality TV show’s social media accounts, in order to determine the pop-up’s venue.
The venue will change each night, with clues revealed online just before the restaurant opens, Good Food reports.
Last year, Blumenthal temporarily relocated his Fat Duck restaurant to Melbourne’s Crown Casino, where only 16,000 diners had the privilege to eat at the 45-seat venue, after entering an online ballot. He then opened Dinner by Heston, a permanent restaurant in the casino, where the menu is inspired by Blumenthal’s fascination with British history.
