Sydney-based group House Made Hospitality is continuing to expand, today announcing it will open four venues at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth’s Bligh Street precinct in the CBD.
The group have revealed the four unnamed venues will include two bars and two restaurants which are slated to open this spring.
“We know this section of the CBD exceptionally well and have a clear vision of what venue concepts are missing, and what could be developed to complement the existing hospitality footprint,” says House Made Hospitality Director Justin Newton.
“Our focus is on creating drinking and dining destinations that offer something innovative and fresh for guests and these four venues do just that.”
One of the restaurants is set to be a 110-pax Australian seafood grill, while the other will be a French-Vietnamese eatery with a 150-pax dining room and adjoining terrace.
One of the bars is set to be an Australian-inspired occasion championing native ingredients, while the other will extend the French-Vietnamese theme with an impressive 250-person capacity for its rooftop terrace location.
“If these four venues were dotted around various spots in Sydney’s CBD, you’d make a beeline for them because of the uniqueness of their offering, their gorgeous interiors and the high level of service guests have come to know we deliver at House Made Hospitality,” continues Newton.
“It just so happens these four venues are in one destination, which makes it easy to bounce between them, and that location is the iconic Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.”
This announcement comes off the back of the group’s news last month that they will also be opening three venues in Surry Hills’ Wonderlich Lane precinct this spring.
House Made Hospitality is set to open an impressive seven venues this year, to take the total number in their portfolio to 17 by the end of the year.
The new venues will join the group’s existing portfolio of Hinchcliff House (Grana, Lana, Apollonia), Bondi’s Easy Tiger and Promenade, Bar Mammoni, This Way Canteen, The Carrington, and CBD rooftop venue Martinez.
