KOI Dessert Bar and Monkey’s Corner will open for a three-month pop-up at the HWKR Food Centre in Melbourne.
HWKR is set to open on 8 February, and the Poernomo brothers were invited to bring their unique desserts and bar fare to the centre.
Located on the ground floor of the EQ Tower in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, HWKR surrounds the concept of a traditional hawker centre full of South-East Asian cuisine.
This is the first interstate offering for Koi and Monkey’s Corner. The pop-up will include signature dishes including Monkey’s Corner’s ox tongue and KOI’s mango yuzu and Nomtella cakes, alongside exclusives for HWKR.
MasterChef Australia’s Reynold Poernomo will establish and manage the HWKR outpost for the first few weeks.
KOI Dessert Bar and Monkey’s Corner will be open at HWKR from 8 February, operating seven days a week until the end of April 2018.
