Chef Lauren Murdoch will lead the kitchen teams at the Sydney Opera House’s Colonnade Caf and Western Foyer Theatre Bars, following the venues’ recent addition to the Trippas White Group portfolio.
Together with the Trippas White Group, which also runs venues including 360 Bar and Dining and Centennial Parklands Dining, Murdoch will deliver contemporary, affordable menus featuring local NSW produce, in a relaxed setting.
Trippas White Group will begin trading in the Opera House from 1 September and a re-fit is scheduled for 2016.
Trippas White Group managing director Joseph Murray said “We are thrilled to be appointed by the Sydney Opera House and to have one of our talented head chefs, Lauren Murdoch lead the charge. It’s exciting to be able to bring our experience and flair to Australia’s most famous building, delivering new food concepts and a fresh look to the Western Foyers venue.”
