Some of the country's top chefs will take part in a new Australian food podcast, The Pass.
Launching on 21 February, The Pass will offer listeners a guide to the best food, restaurants and eating experiences – locally and around the world – chosen by industry leaders.
Some of the country’s top chefs and food personalities taking part include Kylie Kwong (Billy Kwong), Matt Moran (Solotel), Colin Fassnidge (4Fourteen), Dave Pynt (Burnt Ends, Singapore), Josh Niland (Saint Peter), Morgan McGlone (Belle’s Hot Chicken) and UK food Instagram sensation, ClerkenwellBoy.
Hosted by media personality Magdalena Roze, each episode of The Pass takes the listener on a chef’s journey to their favourite places and gives insight into the food they love. From date night restaurants to dive bars, ingredients they can’t live without, and the meal they would buy with their last $5, The Pass gives listeners an insight into each interviewee’s experiences within the food industry.
Each episode of The Pass is under 20 minutes and episodes are recorded all over Australia.
As an added extra in each episode, Roze conducts a two minute interview – Under the Grill’ – ith another well-known food identity, with questions including ‘What is your death-row meal?’, ‘what is the ultimate food destination?’, ‘what is the most challenging thing you've eaten?’, and ‘what ingredient can’t you live without?’
The Pass comprises eight weekly episodes, released on a Tuesday.
