Mantle Group Hospitality is gearing up to open Levantine-inspired concept Babylon in Brisbane this summer.
Babylon Brisbane is the sibling venue of the first location in Sydney, which opened in the CBD in 2019.
Head Chef Ferdinand Sari has collaborated with Babylon Sydney Chef Robert Taylor to create an offering that combines Eastern Mediterranean seafood influences with Middle Eastern cuisine.
Guests can expect a vast range of meze items served with house-made breads, gozleme and a selection of wood-fired dishes.
Located along the banks of the Brisbane River, the three-storey site will host up to 1,000 guests across a dining room, multiple bar spaces and outdoor terraces.
The project will launch in two phases, with the 120-seat restaurant and private dining room slated to open in mid-December followed by the Babylon Gardens, which will open in early 2023.
Babylon Brisbane restaurant will open on Eagle Street and operate for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
