Matt Moran is set reopen The Rockley Pub this month with a major refurb and new menu.
Located in the NSW town of Rockley south of Bathurst, the venue will feature a new 90-seat restaurant and bar alongside a beer garden.
“I’m excited to reopen the pub for the locals of Rockley and the region,” says the chef and restaurateur.
“This is just the start of our plans for The Rockley Pub over the next few months- the serious work now begins on the renovations and additions, but in the meantime, there will be great pub food and beers on offer.”
A revamped menu aims to showcase local produce including some from Moran’s very own farm.
Options include well-executed pub classics such as Hawkesbury calamari, Green Hill Farm spicy pork sausage roll, beer battered fish and chips, parmesan crumbed chicken schnitzel and rump steak or dry aged sirloin.
A ploughman’s plate will feature salami from Moran’s family farm.
Another phase of renovations will involve the addition of a bakery and a general store.
The Rockley Pub will be open Thursday to Sunday 12pm until late from 17 March.
