The owners of Melbourne venue Stalactites have opened a new 40sqm QSR store, dishing up souvlaki, snack packs, house-made dips and sweets.
Hella Good will offer marinated meat sliced straight from the spit, with four traditional-sized souvlakis on the menu: the Arnie (lamb), Kotter (chicken), Harvey (lamb and chicken mixed) or Terry (vegetarian).
“After serving over 10 million souvlakis at Stalactites in the past 39 years, the family felt it was time to change it up and start something new and hopefully bring our authentically Melbourne style Greek souvlaki to a wider audience,” says managing director Nicole Papasavas.
“It’s simple, but classic — just a good souvlaki that’s fresh, tasty and a generous serving but in a much faster and quick service environment.
“We still use all locally sourced produce in support of Australian farmers and everything is homemade using our family recipes just like always.”
