Merivale has announced it has acquired The Quarterdeck in Narooma.
It marks the first venue outside of Sydney for the group, with CEO Justin Hemmes calling Narooma his “second home”.
“I think it is one of the most beautiful spots in the world, with a unique landscape, crystal clear waters and an amazing community of people who call it home,” says Hemmes.
“It has been an absolute privilege to spend so much time here over the past six years and I’m excited to now join the local business community.”
The Quarterdeck has been in business for more than 20 years and encompasses a tiki bar and grill with a focus on live music.
The keys will be handed over in the coming months and the venue will continue to trade as usual “for the foreseeable future”.
