Almost three years after its launch, Sydney’s Moon Park restaurant has announced it will not renew its lease, expiring this September.
According to Gourmet Traveller, the Korean restaurant’s co-owner, Ned Brooks, will focus on his wine importing business, while Ben Sears and Eun Hee An, fellow co-owners and co-chefs, will enjoy time with their family and friends.
There are rumours that Moon Park will relocate, with sites in the city, including at the new Barangaroo development, being considered however “nothing has been the right fit so far,” GT reports.
Moon Park’s service will remain as normal until 18 June. From 5 July, the offering will change to a set menu comprising new dishes as well as favourites from the restaurant’s three year history. The last service will be held on 24 September.
