Australian coffee liqueur brand, Mr Black has teamed up with Sydney coffee legends Campos Coffee to create a limited edition brew.
The Mr Black x Campos collaboration features carefully selected, Kenyan Tchakakhani single origin beans.
“We’ve been good friends with the guys at Campos for a while now and they have been supporters since day dot, even letting me have a crack at being a Campos guest taster,” says Mr Black’s master distiller, Phillip Moore.
“Their Kenyan Tchakakhani single origin has such a finessed, robust taste that there was no question – this was the perfect blend for our first ever collaboration of Mr Black.”
Commenting on the collaboration, president of Campos, Will Young said that finished product is both highly unique and delicious.
“Kenya is always on our minds when we think of consistently excellent specialty coffee. ‘AA’ is our roaster’s selection which demonstrates the high quality of coffee that Kenya has to offer. There’s plenty of chocolate, blackcurrant, berry and citrus notes, which translate perfectly to the liqueur. We are very pleased to join forces with Mr Black to create what we believe is a highly unique (and delicious) product. ”
To celebrate the launch of the collaboration, Mr Black teamed up with Karel ‘Papi’ Reyes, from The Barber Shop Sydney to come up with the first Mr Black x Campos signature cocktail: Coffee with Black Cherry and Apricot.
