Melbourne-based Mulberry Group are expanding again with the launch of two new venues in the CBD.
Hazel is set to make its debut on 14 October in the T&G Building on Flinders Lane, joining sibling venue Liminal which launched earlier this year.
The two-level venue will open from Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner and offer lunch only on Sundays. By night, Dessous will open its doors upstairs from the 21st of October.
Former Rockpool Bar & Grill chef Zac Nicholson has been appointed head chef and says he wants the dishes to speak for themselves.
“We will be creating dishes that we like to eat, that are simple and approachable and add to the overall guest experience.”
A wine list comprising 120 bottles will be on offer along with cocktails and a range of local beers.
“We want people to come and gather at Hazel, to enjoy an abundance of beautiful produce with their friends and loved ones,” says owner Nathan Toleman.
“We wanted to bring the hospitality experience back to the things the that really matter; exceptional food, wine, service and happy customers.”
