Wok St Chow House has opened in Perth’s Northbridge, offering “authentic Thai food done sexy”.
Launching in mid-December, the restaurant offers late night dining, with its doors open until 3am on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Chef Roong Moonta is tossing pans, offering dishes that showcase the best seasonal ingredients, in an informal setting.
“Northbridge is known as the dining soul of Perth city and is home to some of our coolest and [most] diverse culinary experiences. Wok St really plays off the vibe,” said owner Nick Bond.
“The menu is deliberately multi-layered with its culinary references to really take authentic Thai fare to a whole new level. No punches are held when it comes to flavour combinations.”
The small plate ‘Street Food’ offering includes raw yellowtail with lime, coconut, mungbean and cane vinegar; crispy soft shell crab with fruit salad; or Som Yum with green papaya, dried shrimp and peanuts.
The menu also comprises ‘Wok Food’ and ‘Noodle and Green’ sections as well as a short dessert list.
