King Street is preparing to launch a new burger concept, with Super Combo opening its doors on 9 March under The Green apartments at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Owned by Michael Nham and Hao Vu, Super Combo is themed around the late 80s and 90s fighting game era.
“The Super Combo experience will not only comprise of quality food and a distinct theme but will also provide a fun and quirky environment that screams old school fun,” Nham said.
The burgers will be complemented by a selection of sides, a collection of locally and internationally sourced specialty sauces, and shakes.
Project director Andrew Hay said Super Combo is bringing something new and exciting to King Street and to Brisbane.
“We have carefully curated the food and beverage offering at King Street so that people can experience the best local talent and produce, so it’s no wonder we are fast becoming Brisbane’s favourite foodie dining destination,” he said.
Upon completion King Street will be home to up to approximately 40 tenancies including GG’s Espresso, The George, Fat Dumpling, Sushi & Nori and Hello Chicken, with The Lamb Shop due to open on 6 March.
