Queensland restaurateur Renata Roberts is expanding her portfolio, launching both a Pizzeria Violetta and Sichuan Bang Bang concept in one site.
Roberts opened the original Pizza Violetta in Kenmore, Queensland, in March 2015, and Sichuan Bang Bang, also in Kenmore, in July 2012. Both offerings will come together at 67 Given Terrace in Paddington, with the new site launching on 7 May.
“Melbourne and Sydney are so spoilt for dining choice,” said Roberts. “I want to add depth to the Brisbane dining arena. I think this is the restaurant Paddington has been waiting for.”
The venue will be split in two, with a caboose style eatery on one side, housing Sichuan Bang Bang, an open stone bar in the middle, and Pizzeria Violetta on the other side, boasting an open kitchen complete with a Stefano Ferarra DOC wood fired pizza oven.
An outdoor deck will be available for Pizzeria Violetta diners.
Sichuan Bang Bang will form one half of the new Paddington site.
