Located on the second floor of Newtown’s Marlborough Hotel, soul food kitchen Miss Peaches has appointed a new head chef, Adam Cremona.
Cremona brings with him a wealth of experience including stints at a number of hatted restaurants, gastro pubs and island resorts. Positions at Nove Cucina, Otto Ristorante and most recently Sydney’s House of Crabs – where he was head chef – all feature on Cremona’s resume.
In keeping with the soul food kitchen theme, Cremona’s new menu includes: black bean and sweet potato burgers; bacon wrapped meatloaf with creamy stoneground grits ‘n’ gravy; and Cajun okra jambalaya.
The bar will also be serving up its signature homemade sodas, along with cocktails that feature seasonal produce and house made shrubs and jams.
