The team behind Nomad restaurant in Sydney will open the doors to Beau, a new wine bar and deli.
Located on Reservoir Street just down the road from Nomad, the intimate 50-seat venue will focus on local wines and hero produce sourced from across the country.
“With our unique and shared challenges over the last two years, we have seen demand for our side projects grow and the support from our local community remains unwavering,” says Co-Owner Rebecca Yazbek.
“The Nomad Group mission is to consistently create experiences that bring together great food, local produce, great wine and service that is both friendly and professional in spaces that are immersive and make you want to stay. This is a space that we couldn’t say no to, we just don’t want to leave.”
Executive Chef Jacqui Challinor is heading up the culinary offering after more than eight years with the group.
The bar menu is set to feature familiar favourites from Nomad such as house-made charcuterie, cheeses and a cold seafood bar.
Beverage Director Ged Bellis has curated a by-the-glass wine list dedicated to Australian producers, experimental and boutique wines on tap and international drops.
Guests can head to the deli and enjoy an assortment of dips, pickled and marinated vegetables along with Margra lamb shoulder and green chilli zhoug that can be teamed with house-made manoush.
Beau will open early next year and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
