Grant Murray has been appointed to the position of executive chef at Margaret River’s Pullman Bunker Bay Resort.

Murray brings over 20 years' experience both locally and abroad to his new role. His career has included positions at award winning restaurants in Dubai with the Kerzner & Jumeirah groups, along with seven years in London at some of the city's top eateries.

Most recently, Murray held the position of executive chef at Hayman Island’s One&Only Resort.

In his new role, Murray will oversee the Pullman Resort’s flagship restaurant, Other Side of the Moon, as well as the Resort’s Bar & Bistro, room service and conference catering.

"We are extremely excited to bring chef Murray aboard," explains Bronwyn Bulpitt, general manager of the Pullman Bunker Bay Resort. “Grant’s extensive experience in exclusive high-end resorts will add a rich global flavour that will be enjoyed by our guests throughout the resort’s plethora of culinary experiences,” said Bulpitt.

"I’m eager to embark on this next chapter in my culinary journey,” said Murray. “Fresh, quality produce is definitely my priority and I’ve spent the last three weeks getting to know the Margaret River region’s outstanding local producers.

“The plethora of amazing ingredients here is mind blowing, and I can’t wait to bring them to life on the plate.”

Murray will be re-launching a new menu at Other Side of the Moon Restaurant over the coming weeks. Murray has also made a few updates the resort’s new Tapastry by Pullman menu, which is available in the casual bistro and bar and designed in conjunction with Pullman culinary ambassador, Justin North.
