To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the Summer Night Market, Queen Victoria Market is calling for food, drink and general merchandise traders.
Melbourne’s original night market will return for a 20-week season, kicking-off on Wednesday 15 November 2017 and running on each Wednesday through until 28 March 2018.
Each year, the Summer Night Market brings a line-up of carefully curated food, drink and general merchandise traders to the Market’s iconic sheds to create a buzzing, summer atmosphere.
The Vic Market is seeking operators who are inventive and innovative to help establish a Wednesday evening street food and shopping mecca right in the heart of the city.
The Summer Night Market’s 20th season aims to include an array of cuisines and beverages from across the globe as well as emerging artisanal artists, fashion designers, homewares producers, local creatives and general merchandise creators who want to be the next big thing.

Applications close Monday 7 August 2017 after which time the Vic Market selection panel will review all applications based on unique product nature and event compatibility.
