Taking place over the month of March, registrations for the Canberra Times Good Food Month festival are now open.
The expanded program features festival favourites such as the Night Noodle Markets along with a host of meal specials including Let’s Do Lunch and Hats Off Dinners.
Organisers are encouraging local and regional restaurants, cafes, bars, chefs and producers to join the program. Trade registrations for 2016 Canberra Good Food Month – closing this Friday, 22 January – are free of charge.
“The food fanatics in the country’s capital will be excited by the fact that they have more choice than ever before, as the festival follows the footprint of other Good Food Month programs in other states,” says Good Food Month creative director Miffy Rigby.
A number of big names have already signed on to this years’ program including Buevette Bistro & Wine Bar, IORI Japanese Restaurant, Muse, Pulp Kitchen, The Chairman and Yip, Lanterne Rooms and Lilotang.
In terms of Night Noodle Market stall holders, Canberra locals Soi Noodle Bar, Thirst Wine Bar, Kusina have joined the bill along with interstate favourites Black Star Pastry, Hoy Pinoy, Let’s Do Yum Cha, Teppanyaki Noodles, Chips on a Stick, Waffle on a Stick, Mini Pancakes and Thai on a Box.
The Canberra Times Good Food Month will take place from 1-31 March, 2016 and the Enlighten Night Noodle Markets will run from 4-13 March at Reconcilliation Palce.
