Salt Meats Cheese launched its debut food truck venture on Friday 5 May at Gasworks, where the group’s first Brisbane restaurant will open later this year.
The custom-made pizzeria-on-wheels was designed by Salt Meats Cheese co-owner, Stefano De Blasi, and constructed by Brisbane-based Van Demons.
The Fuel food truck serves a combination of Italian classics and Fuel’s own signature pizzas, such as Truffle Mortadella. Artisan cure meats and cheeses will rotate on a regular basis and wood-fired breakfast dishes are also on offer, including a wood-fired bacon, egg and mozzarella roll. Nutella-filled desserts, like the sweet pizza and an Oreo-filled calzone, feature on the menu too.
The Fuel food will also be available for private hire for coporate catering, festivals and parties.
