Formerly a deli, Salt Meats Cheese in Sydney’s Mosman will reopen on 2 June as a restaurant and pizzeria.
The venue’s design has been updated and the original high seating has been replaced with low tile-top tables. A pizza oven has been installed and the bar has been refreshed, creating a more casual dining space.
The menu showcases Salt Meats Cheese’s popular pizzas as well as a selection of entrees, antipasto, salads, pastas and sides.
Salt Meats Cheese has also partnered with another Australian brand with Italian heritage, Regal Rogue, to offer a range of spritzes. Australia’s first native vermouth, Regal Rogue marries Australia wine with aromatics sourced from the outback. The Salt Meats Cheese spritz collection is served in a wine glass over ice, and comprises The Lively Rogue – Regal Rogue Lively White & elderflower tonic; The Bold Rogue – Regal Rogue Bold Rogue with ginger beer; and The Wild Rogue – Regal Rogue Wild Rogue with bitter lemon.
The drinks menu also includes a selection of Italian and Australian beers including Menabrea and Stone & Wood Pacific Ale as well as wines and cocktails.
