Shoal Bay Country Club is providing an authentic Greek dining experience with the launch of Atmos.
The restaurant will have room for 170 diners and is set to open on 28 October.
“We want our customers to feel like they have been transported to Greece through the Atmos experience; the interiors, tastes, smells, sounds and ambience will all evoke the experience of being in the Greek Islands,” says General Manager Paul Shaw.
The menu boasts a unique social experience based on shared meals curated by Country Club Executive Chef Leonard Faust and Chef Phil Davenport.
Highlights include whole snapper, slow-cooked lamb shoulder and a traditional souvla BBQ of chicken, pork and lamb along with classic dessert options such as Yiayia’s famous baklava.
“Greek food is simple, uncomplicated, and best enjoyed with family and friends,” says Davenport. “Historically, Greek cuisine is designed to share; a tradition we encourage at Atmos.”
Brent Tozer has created a drinks list that features a baklava cocktail and a Greek take on the espresso martini.
A selection of imported Greek and European wines will also be on offer along with wines from the Hunter Valley.
Atmos will open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday and lunch on the weekend.
