The Landing Bar & Kitchen has changed direction and relaunched as Signora at The Landing under owners Lisa and Andrew Margan.
Signora features a revitalised drinks list and Italian menu teamed with a fresh interior.
Curated by head chef Paul Thornton, the menu showcases a selection of small and large share plates that pay homage to local producers and the venue’s Newcastle harbour-front location.
Italian classics including kingfish crudo with Sicilian olives and citrus along with linguini tossed with baby clams and vitello tonnato with white anchovies.
Ollie Margan of Adelaide bar Maybe Mae has created a summer-focused cocktail selection, championing fresh, local and seasonal offerings. A gin e tonico menu will also be available.
“I have Italian heritage and love the value Italians place on sharing good food and booze with family and friends, so this new direction was a logical choice,” says Lisa.
“The Landing has always been a destination for those who love cocktails, so we are building on that with a menu that shines a light on the Italian way of life — a place to share in quality food and drinks by the harbour with their favourite people.”
