Pork belly pizza recipe

Impress your guests with a decadent pork belly pizza using Mainland’s mozzarella.

Cook time: 5 minutes

Serves: 1 large pizza

Ingredients

30cm pizza dough base

60g tomato sugo sauce

100g Mainland mozzarella shredded

90g slow-cooked pork belly cut into 3cm x 3cm slices

50g BBQ sauce

5g micro coriander – picked leaves

10g thinly sliced red radish

Sea salt flakes, cracked pepper and chilli flakes

Method

  1. Place base on 30cm pizza tray and spread tomato sugo over base.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella over the base.
  3. Mix pork belly with BBQ sauce (and add optional chilli flakes) and spread over the base.
  4. Cook at 270 degrees Celsius for six minutes or until golden and crisp.
  5. Remove from oven and scatter with coriander and radish.
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
