Global hospitality learning platform, Typsy, have launched a new plan to support the worldwide hospitality industry during the Coronavirus pandemic. The Typsy COVID Support Plan offers unrestricted free online access to its industry-leading platform and ever-growing Netflix-style library of 700+ hospitality specific video lessons. This support is available to all businesses, schools and individuals, anytime up until September 30th, 2020.
With venues across the world being forced to downsize or close in response to the pandemic, this support plan will help businesses stay engaged and connected with their workforce. It will also enable members to freely develop their hospitality skills, empowering those who have been affected by the coronavirus, to access online learning opportunities and re-enter the workforce with confidence.
Typsy’s CEO Jonathan Plowright describing the initiative as crucial, says, “The negative impacts on hospitality and tourism are devastating, however, a stronger community is building. Being able to offer free access to Typsy at this time allows us to support not only our existing customers, but also those whose lives and businesses have been disrupted by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Community has never been more important than it is now, and providing online learning is a positive and accessible way to help people stay productive, connected and engaged with their employers and the hospitality industry in general. We all need to do what we can to ensure the industry comes through this.”
Typsy is the world’s fastest-growing online hospitality learning platform with courses that are led by world-class instructors and designed for hotels, restaurants, learning institutions, small businesses, as well as individuals looking to upskill and improve their resume and job opportunities.
Amongst their ever growing portfolio of customers, Typsy counts dozens of marquee global groups including Radisson, Delaware North, Wyndham, Minor and Hyatt as clients, to compliment local partnerships in Australia, with the likes of the AHA/TAA.
Typsy is also the exclusive online training partner of Carlton & United Breweries, where members can access video lessons that can be watched online individually or as part of a CUB learning program. Members will be able to complete badges to earn industry credentials.
The COVID-19 Support Plan will be available until Wednesday, September 30th, 2020. For more information, please visit typsy.com/covid.
