No-waste bar Re- is heading to Adelaide for two days to serve up a range of sustainable cocktails and host a sustainability seminar.
The collaboration stems from a partnership between Bacardi-Martini and the two bars, to highlight sustainable practices in the industry.
It all kicks off on 7 March, with Re-‘s Matt Dale and Sam Cocks hosting a “How to Build a Rubbish Bar” seminar to show venues how to approach and utilise waste in their work.
The following evening from 7pm, the duo will then takeover Memphis Slim’s to serve up a range of signature cocktails.
The cocktails include the PnV (Grey Goose with fennel flower and PnV Waste Wine), Koji & Co (Bombay Sapphire with roasted koji and white peach), Wildflower (Patron Silver with cucumber tamari and marron shell) and the Maylands (Bacardi Carta Blanca with Illawarra plum wine).
“Re- is really excited to be heading to Adelaide on our first Australian takeover for 2023,” says Dale.
“We were extremely humbled when the whole team from Memphis Slims and surrounding bars came to Re- last year and we are stoked to return the favour with the help of Bombay Sapphire.”
The Re- How to Build a Rubbish Bar seminar will be held at Memphis Slim’s House of Blues on 7 March at 2pm.
