The inaugural Sydney Wine Festival will celebrate the best of New South Wales’ wine with 60 wineries offering 350 wines to event-goers at Rosehill Racecourse on 14 and 15 October.
Less than 8 percent of wines sold on-premise and in retail are sourced from New South Wales — the Sydney Wine Festival organisers hope to increase this figure, using the event as a platform to showcase wine from 14 regions across the state, including Mudgee, the Hunter Valley, Orange, the Southern Highlands, and New England.
Street food from around the world will also be on offer from 15 stalls, while a gourmet cheese corner will provide the perfect pairing for a variety of drops.
