Tayim restaurant in The Rocks has launched a spin-off deli, serving up takeaway Middle Eastern fare.
Tayim Deli is open for breakfast and lunch and will offer sandwiches, salads and wraps. Breakfast options include a sumac-cured trout, labne and zaatar breakfast sandwich and a Black Forest bacon with free-range eggs, aged cheddar and tomato chili jam breakfast roll.
For lunch, diners can choose from a falafel pita pocket with pickles, tahini and tomato or a wagyu brisket, cheddar and herbed aioli sandwich. A range of salads will be made daily including a three-grain salad with charred broccolini, pomegranate and puffed rice or a chopped salad with tomato, cucumber, Spanish onion, mint and pita crusts.
Tayim Deli is located between Harrington and George Street and is open from 7am-2:30 pm Monday to Friday and 9am-2pm on Saturday.
