The Gambaro Group has announced it’ll join the line-up of hospitality venues set to open at The Star Brisbane with Black Hide Steak & Seafood By Gambaro.
The 240-seat restaurant will be located on The Terrace and will be the largest venue in that space.
The restaurant will be an expansion of The Gambaro’s Group Black Hide by Gambaro located at the Treasury Brisbane which will remain open until the new site launches.
Guests to the new site can expect familiar steak favourites from the other Black Hide outposts along with new seafood dishes and a small plates menu.
The new site will feature a kitchen equipped with wood-fire charcoal burners and a Montague Broiler which the group have been using for 10 years at its other Black Hide outposts.
“We have made significant enhancements to our menu with the addition of a variety of delicious seafood dishes, featuring fresh Queensland catches to perfectly complement our renowned steak offerings, as well introducing a stylish cocktail lounge bar, where guests can indulge in small plates from our menu while enjoying panoramic views of the river,” says The Gambaro Group Director John Gambaro.
“We will be expanding our team, our trading times and our menu to reflect the scale and calibre of our newest location within The Star Brisbane entertainment hub.”
Black Hide Steak & Seafood by Gambaro joins the line-up of venues already announced for The Star Brisbane including Sokyo Brisbane, Luke Nguyen’s Fat Noodle, Cucina Regina, and the Sky Deck’s Aloria, Babblers, and Cicada Blu.
Black Hide Steak & Seafood by Gambaro is slated to open during The Star’s staged opening from August 2024.
