South Australian distiller Twenty Third Street has opened its flagship restaurant on-site at the brand’s Renmark Distillery.
While Italian-trained pizza chef Andre Sostegni slings traditional-sized and one-metre-long pizzas from the restaurants wood fire oven, both the food and drink menus are inspired by native ingredients and local botanicals used in Twenty Third Street Distillery spirits.
The Distillery’s historic wine tanks have been converted into exclusive private dining areas. The Chef’s Table seats up to 20 people, offering diners a chance to interact with the kitchen team.
“Diners are wanting a point of difference in the Riverland region and the Distillery Restaurant really sets the stage for this,” says venue manager Jessica Zimmerman. “Whether you’re gin tasting with friends or enjoying a shared meal, the creative energy in here is extreme.”
The Distillery Restaurant is open from 6pm Thursday–Sunday.
