Uber has teamed up with OzHarvest and chefs George Calombaris, Matt Moran and Neil Perry to deliver ice cream for charity.
George Calombaris, Matt Moran and Neil Perry have each designed a flavour inspired by rescued ingredients, with the goal of funding 100,000 meals for vulnerable Australians.
Every tub purchased through Uber Ice Cream will help fund five meals for OzHarvest to feed local people in need.
The flavours on offer are Calombaris’ caramel and walnut baklava smash; Moran’s banoffee crunch; and Perry’s spiced cookie and caramel swirl.
Uber Ice Cream will be available Friday 15 July between 11am and 5pm, or until sold out. Half a litre of ice cream will be delivered for $15, charged to users’ Uber account, with flavours selected at random. For a list of available locations click here.
