Western Australia Gourmet Escape will be making a comeback this year with a program chock-full of culinary icons.
The festival will run from 17 to 21 November across iconic destinations such as Margaret River, Perth, Swan Valley and Rottnest Island; a first in the event’s history.
“This much-loved food and wine festival is a bucket-list experience for foodies, showcasing the best of Western Australia’s produce, attracting visitors to destinations and supporting participating businesses,” says Creative Director Natalie O’Brien.
Curtis Stone and Rick Stein are among the returning talent along with Shannon Martinez, Colin Fassnidge, Matt Stone, Guillaume Brahimi and Guy Grossi.
Stephanie Alexander and Maggie Beer will also participate alongside up-and-coming wine figures Curly Haslam-Coates, Erin Larkin and Samantha Payne.
One of the must-attend events is Rottnest Sunset at Pinky’s Beach Club, which will see Stein and Fassnidge team up for the debut experience.
The Gourmet Beach BBQ with Curtis Stone is sure to be a highlight, with the ocean-side event highlighting the region’s local produce, wine and beer.
Multicourse feasts will hit the tables in the Ultimate Dining Series, which will take place across a range of venues including Vasse Felix in Margaret River; Art Gallery of WA, Sandalford Estate, Cullen Wines, Cape Mentelle and more.
